Disney Sea Experience : Tokyo DisneySea Travel Guide

We made it to the Happiest place on earth but this time it is the Disney sea. Tokyo DisneySea is designed with   7 different aquatic themed areas, from classic American Waterfront scenery, futuristic Port Discovery, the jungles of Lost River DeltaMysterious IslandArabian Coast, the imaginary underwater world Mermaid Lagoon, and the Italian coastal city Mediteranian Harbor. It is  right next  to Tokyo Disneyland and definitely is the most beautiful theme park I’ve ever been to.

Mediterranean Harbor at the entrance to the park is styled after an Italian port town. Its waterfront features Venice style canals and gondolas, and its buildings make up the Tokyo Disney Hotel Mira costa

The Mysterious Island is at center of the park, found within the volcano which spews smoke rather convincingly all day long.IMG_0382

American Waterfront You will find both excitement on Big city and New england Fishing port theme.styled after the 20th century harbor towns found around New York, New England and Cape Cod. The area features an elevated train, American styled restaurants and shops, a playhouse and the S.S. Columbia steam liner that houses a restaurant and lounge

Attractions like tower of terror (Scariest ride on Disney)  Terrifying experience from the Pent House and Toy story Mania are here

New York Deli is one of our favorite  Dining in this area 🙂

Mermaid Lagoon  enter the undersea world of Ariel and her fishy friends from The Little Mermaid. This whimsical area of the park with its rides and shows is geared toward younger children.

The Arabian Coast recreates the world of Aladdin and 1001 Arabian Nights. Here you can watch a magic show hosted by Genie or travel with Sinbad as he sets sail for discovery.

Enjoyed Sinbad Story telling ride 🙂

Lost River Delta was built among the ruins of an ancient temple pyramid in the Central American jungle. The Indiana Jones Adventure ride explores the bowels of the temple ruins, while the Raging Spirits Roller Coaster rumbles along next door

One of the great rides in this theme area is the Indiana Jones, Luckily we got Fast pass for this because of we didn’t ride on the Journey to the Center of the earth (Perks) 🙂

Port Discovery is the marina of the future where visitors can check out the StormRider, a type of virtual rollercoaster, or try out some of the experimental, self-guided watercraft that travel between the rocks, fountains and whirlpools of the Aquatopia attraction.

Programs are usually held at the port area.

  1. Get a Map or Go to Park Information Board for attraction and entertainment schedule
  2. Spend less time in line for attractions, you can use Disney FastPass. Just look for the Disney FastPass ticketing machines near the attraction entrance.

Rides/Attractions: Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, StormRider, Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull, Raging Spirits, The Magic Lamp Theater, Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20.000 Leagues Under the Sea. (we didn’t have chance to get Fast pass because we are totally amazed by the park) BUT YOU should get this * I recommend you to try the ff Indiana Jones, Toy Story, Journey to the Centre of the earth) (if you have smaller kids you might want to visit the Arabian cost area since the are offering attraction with less line queuing and suitable for younger kids)

  1.  Do not bring food or drinks into attractions but there is an area where you can eat your meals (picnic area)
  2. Please stay until 8pm to see the magical show on the lake (I wasn’t able to see this because the weather is not good. on the day it is so hot but after 5pm rain pours 😦 but I guess next time, I have to make it happen!
  3. In Tokyo DisneySea, you are allowed to wear your Disney-themed outfit! HAVE YOUR OOTD!!!
